We offer an easy way to fish some epic Southern Costa Rican waters on the fastest, safest and fishy boat in the region with your home port in Golfito, Costa Rica. FishHook Marina is located on the bay of Golfito with rooms overlooking the docks. They offer great food and dockside access to the Colio 28’ Sportfisher with all the offshore and inshore gear to get you on everything from monster Roosterfish, Tunas blowing up on bait balls, to jumbo Black Marlin eating your live tuna at the back of the boat!
Fishhook Marina rooms are $100pp double occupancy or $200 for single room option. Breakfast included. All other meals are not included.

The Best Inshore Fishing in Costa Rica
Southern Costa Rica’s inshore waters host genuine giants, where world-record class fish lurk minutes from the dock. Monster Pacific tarpon pushing 200 pounds cruise the shoreline, while trophy roosterfish over 80 pounds patrol the rocky points. Cubera snapper exceeding 60 pounds emerge from their lairs, prepared to test the strongest tackle. Every cast has the potential for a personal best, whether it’s a 50-pound African pompano, massive grouper, or one of the countless other trophy species that call these waters home.
Encanta La Vida Lodge is $300pp double occupancy all inclusive epic meals we do have the best chefs at the lodge food is seriously all world bring home a tuna for sushi night or a Dorado for ceviche.
Taxi to the lodge is $80 total each way up to 4 person per taxi.
Jungle tours, Waterfall tours, Night Hikes, Kayaking etc available at the Matapalo beachfront lodge. You will see 4 species of monkeys, sloths, toucans, scarlet macaws and so much more in this safe but wild nature setting.
You can come as many days as you want but I recommend staying for 6-7 days fishing 4 days then enjoying the lodge and the jungle tours for the best Costa Rican experience ever!
Travel is easy just get to San Jose, Costa Rica on your favorite airline then send us your itinerary so we can get you a discounted Sansa Air fly to either Golfito or Puerto Jimenez depending on which package suites your style.
